ANTI-WAR WALKOUT/LENT

so today i go to class but my teacher didnt show up..so everyone was like "10 minute rule, let's bounce." and being the goodie-goodie i am, i was all scared and hesitant...i mean who would have ever thought this would actually happen right? this wasn't a lecture so it wouldn't be that easy cause attendance does count. but they just kept saying, "come on before she comes." so we passed around a sheet as proof we were here, then left. then..my dorky self went back to see if our teacher was gonna end up coming..i waited a like 10 more minutes then left. haha...i guess apart of me still is the suck up/goodie two shoes! but yea..turns out it was because of the ANTI-WAR WALKOUT that was nationwide or something....my other classes were cancelled as well in support of it. campus was crazy today with so many protesters...kinda cool..its history in the making.

so today is the beginning of lent..kinda hard not to eat meat in the DC..but yea..went to church also. i'm giving up cursing for lent..cause forreal...it aint nice. i hate it when i cuss..sounds ugly. but yea...i already slipped a couple times today. hopefully in 40 days i'll stop cussing altogether ;>
