what a dumb day

forgot my keyes at home (hopefully)
noticed my watch ran out of battery (of which i don't have the funds to get it fixed)
missed every bus possible (saw them drive off into the distance)
papercut (how does a tiny slit in the skin hurt so much?)

and on top of that, i can't seem to get in the swing of school just yet. 2-3 page feels more like 20 right now. cold libraries don't help either. i miss the donut room in dwinelle.

oh yea, and some people are sooo retarded. seriously. hey, can i slap you real quick?

minus the presence of madel and sherlyn, we had a little reunion thang goin on. roel back from in-dya, and chris, norman, and robie visiting brought back bittersweet memories. looking back at all our parties, dramas, what-evs....all we could do was laugh our heads off. dang, we were a freakin sit-com. feels good being surrounded by familiar faces, just what i needed :)

i renamed my blog. k not really, but thats what it should be. give me some adventure, spontaneity, excitement....give me LIFE! alright fine, end drama. see how loser i am? talking to my damn self on this damn blog. really though, i miss having friends around 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

all i want is some fuckin pomagrante cider, shopping in the city (which i haven't been to since last spring??), pizza, sushi, carne asada fries, all the jeans in the world and disneyland.

how many days til graduation?? $100 bucks says that when it finally comes, i won't want it happen.

this was definitely the longest week of my life. at least i had the bestest winter break ever, ending with a weekend in tahoe. thanks to mike's patience i can now stop, heel side, and sometimes toe side, well not really. cool huh?

school barely started and im already the laziest girl in the world..even with a four day weekend every week.

im supposed to be in philippines right now :(

maturation; the act or process of maturing

i think that's what 2006 was all about. learning to grow up and taking the first steps into adulthood. not just moving on in life, but knowing how to act in certain situations, dilemmas, or mishaps. minus the month of may and spring break, i can hardly recall a bad moment. it's been a good year...and i definitely owe it to my family and friends.

if it's anything that i really learned this year, it's that i am one lucky bitch. i have a great family and some of the bestest friends in the world. seriously.

grudges were let go, trust has be reinstated, anger and pride subsided, battles picked the right way...

i only hope 2007 will be the same, if not better. here's to keeping the friendships going no matter what distance separates us, finally graduating, making the fam proud, and continuing to grow as a person.


ps. last year's goal of gaining the freshmen 15 all over again..it's been scratched off :)

breath in, breath out..

shit, it's been a minute! so much has gone on that its making me lazy to write. boo...oh well, here it goes in a nut shell:

-wednesday marked the end of my military dependence, aka 23rd birthday :(
-surprise bouquet of tulips sent to my doorstep from...???
-mike came down and stayed at my house! wow...big steps for my parents in accepting my adulthood. haha
-holiday bowl...gooo bears!
-partying in downtown with the berk folks and drinking so much that mari had to drive home for me..hahah. thanks again!
-window shopping at southcoast plaza with mari then going crazy at the outlets. yaay for our new wristlets :D
-chillen at the W rooftop and enjoying scenery.
-new years eve with the fam bam at our house

the past couple days have been mucho fun and mucho tiring, but definitely worth it. thanks folks for everything...love ya alllll.
