im bored sooooooo...im updating! yay for you!

last night was fun...we went to pilam's party with everyone and there mama's cause michael was DJing it. it was cool cause it was a highlightrt party so all the frat guys went around writing on people and it would show under the black light. some girls went a little overboard asking for signatures, but whatever they just looked dirty. so we got back around 1 and i woke up at 6:30 for my 8 o'clock class...that was the best part! ; >

nothing planned for the weekend, just the superbowl that roel and i bet 5 bucks on. i say the panthers are gonna win cause they're animals.

i dont have class til 12 on mon and wed...well actually only until study groups start. weekend was fun...friday was just CHILL..we watched roel's brother's wedding dvd, made some shake and bake...and did HOMEWORK! haha...then we had some late night visitors- kay ann, chris, and ellen. i like how people like coming to our place to hang out. too bad we constantly have to watch our noise level...(fckn lady!) then on saturday me and madel made some breakfast for everyone, well actually brunch. then roel and i went to union city cause it was his brother's birthday. we bought him some shoes and ate dinner at macaroni grill. afterwards we chilled with his cousins and watched a bootleg of HONEY. i ended up sleeping there cause i didnt want roel to drive back and forth so late. its almost february already...wow.

short blog since my comp is still broken...lots has happened

-roel picked us up and we had to carry our HEAVY luggage up the stairs since the elevator was undergoing maintanence. luckily we're on the 3rd.
-we got in trouble TWICE within the first 3 days back...first time the usual knock from the neightbor, the next time a call from the manager warning us that neighborS have been complaining. she even named the times of complaints...i say move all the old folks to one floor dammit! and its all cause of mario party...tsk tsk
-i cut my hairt....SHORT!!! its above my shoulders. everyone said i look older....it was spontaneous. well actually madel and sherlyn pressured me cause they got their hair cut.
-jelly's bday party was crazy...everyone loved the cake and chicken wings we made ; >
-we did secret santa with the roomies...sherlyn lied to me. ; p almost everything i got this year was from hollister...woohooo! even got some giftcards to spend...(thanks val and roel's mom!)
-school is cool. kinda excited.
-party at blakes tonight!! it may be the last time i party since i got ochem and physics ahead of me : /

it's my last day at home. my flight is at 7:45pm tonight with madel and sherlyn. i always get like this before i leave to go back to school...its a weird feeling in my stomach...happy. sad. anxious. and all of the above. next time ill be back is for spring break at the end of march. errr...maybe im just scared about the semester ahead. whatever though, time flies when all you do is study for midterm after midterm.

i guess im pretty satisfied with how break went. even if i hardly went out, except with family of course, its all good. ill just save going out for Berkeley. im gonna miss the bros...playing with darius, acting stupid and laughing with edwin, and bothering my sister. my mom's comedic remarks, my dad's scary looks, and of course all my cousins who are growing up so fast. alright, gotta finish up packing now. i really dont know how i ended up with so much stuff.

oh yea, and i dyed my hair red. i like it lots ; >

the weekend was yet another family weekend. saturday was my sister's 21st birthday so my mom cooked and stuff and my WHOLE family came over. it was hella fun. we played cranium and all these stupid games til like midnight. all my cousins, nieces, and nephews were here, i love that! then the next day we all decided to caravan to church together. haha..of course that didnt work becuase we all got up at different times so we just met there. and then afterwards it was "cousin day" at my cousin's new house that she bought. haha..i think its funny how we plan these hang out days for us. even though we're all older now with our seperate lives, we can still hang out and talk. its freakin great ; > im pretty lucky that my family is local in san diego.

i wanna start blogging everyday again cause theyre funny to look at when youre bored...or at least more than once a week. (even if i sound hella ditzy in most of them) i realized theres so many things i dont blog about cause i forget what happened. thats one of my resolutions...plus its therapy for me ; >

anyways...im home alone now that everyone is at school. its ok though cause i love waking up when i want. i go back to berkeley next wednesday and roel is gonna pick us up...yaaaaaaaaaay! yesterday i went out with my mom. she spoiled me and bought me shoes and a jacket. we also met up with my dad for lunch which was cool and weird at the same time cause it was just me since my bros and sis were at school. i like talking to my mom, she's hella funny. she said she didnt want me to read the teen magazines anymore cause they talk about sex. HAHA...she was reading the freakin article aloud. all i did was laugh. also last night roel made me mad...wait. sad. just cause i didnt know about michael jordan.....sheeeesh! sorry if im not into sports. but whatever...he said he still loves me ; >

im kinda slow on the blogs...so just bare with me. plus im lazy...

so yea...03' is over. it definetely was a great year. i had soo much fun my first year of college...lots of laughs and memories to look back on. i was seriously blessed with great roomates and a kick-ass floor. second year is off to a great start. the apartment life is a great experience. family is always fun...im glad for the few times that my whole family was able to gather...especially this past winter break. my cousins are like my best friends. anyways...

highlights: meeting roel. he taught me how to love again. (cheesy? yes. but i dont give a fck) and of course living in the gaia.
lessons learned: everyone is a hipocrite (sp?) sometimes you turn into the person who always say youre not gonna be without knowing it....sucks. but all you can do is deal with it and accept it. also...who cares what other people think of you. (HaH, im still trying to learn that one)
what sucks (majorly): im a 20 year old with a midnight curfew : / why bother going out?
goal: stop beating myself up. think more optimistically....definetly
