FRIENSHIP GAMES WEEKEND

the long awaited weekend...so we left berkeley around 4:30...picked up start and off we were. i rode with mari, jay, start, and johnny. the whole time we chopped it up...talking about anything and everything. it was a fast trip...and very cool! we stopped at inn n out to eat and that mug was packed. finally got to the hotel around 1:30 and it was foggy as hell. slept at around 3:30 cause we all took showers and stuff that night....plus i couldnt sleep. so yea...we were suppose to meet up in the lobby at 4:30, but thats when everyone woke up. so i pretty much ran the day on one hour of sleep. we got to friendship games all hyped up...but i dont know, it wasnt as fun in the beginning. we watched roll coll dances. i didnt perform cause i didnt know the dance, but it was cute. once the games got started it was hella fun. i played conveyer belt and got soo dirty and scratched up...last place but i had fun! it was great seeing everyone. nate's a dork....he called out my name from across the field on the mega phone...haha. everyone was like, "do you know that guy? he just called your name"...hah, i felt all special. the whole day was pretty cool...just the atmosphere of everyone. but the air was horrible...ashes everywhere...got back to the hotel around 6:30...showered and then went out with jay, mari, norwin, and chris to eat at this mexican place...not as good as SD but better than norcal. then we walked around downtown disney for a bit...fun fun stuff. got back to the hotel again around 10:30 to chill with everyone. but i slept...haha...i was knocked out. didnt even know there was people in my room. kinda wished i stayed up. next morning we ate breakfast at a kickass mcdonalds with an arcade and off on the road by 11:30...got back at 5:30....good timing.

fires are terrible...so many people i know had to evacuate their houses. all i can do is pray that everyone is gonna be ok...and im sure they will be.

we're leaving at 4 and i still have to finish my paper...

i survived midterms round 2...well actually one more to go for psych on halloween...how did i do? well, chem was good, anthro...hopefully went well. i hate writing essays for midterms. i feel too rushed...and math sucked. we'll see though when i get the results. so after that horrid week of studying every night til late and waking up early to study some more..for one midterm after another..i had a pretty CHILL weekend. well kinda...friday was kinda bad. went to roel's friends party...i had NO alcoholic drinks whatsoever...roel though...was pretty bad. enough said. satuday was the friendship games picnic where we learned the cheers and roll call dance...fun stuff. i'm soo excited! kinda sad roel can't make it cause of his brother's bachelor party...its ok though cause i know he'll have more fun with his bro. then after the fun filled day in the sun roel and i had our weekly dinner together. we ate at a thai restaurant (he paid) and i bought us some mondo gelatto after. we rented a movie but i was too tired to watch it. though we did watch "not another teen movie" on HBO since we both haven't seen it...i like it when we just chill like that. it seems like we're always together to everyone, but it really doesnt feel like it cause when we are together we're both usually studying and doing homework. so the weekends are our quality time spent together...i'm soo lucky to be with him ; >

can't wait til friendship games!!

3 midterms this week...let the cycle begin....OR just kill me now

tired of reading...

im currently getting over a cold...the worst has left me and now i can breath. for a good 4-5 days my voiced changed. i liked it....haha. i wish it would stay. but oh well...til the next cold. its been fun lately...friday was 5 months for me and roel....wonderful! we watched theater rice (comedy/improv show) that night with everyone then went with mari to san leandro to drop of her van, while picking up roel's car in hayward from his brother so we can drive back to berkeley. he bought us jack in the box....what a sweetheart. too bad i couldn't taste it cause of my cold. saturday i drove back to union city with roel for his brother's wedding party lunch thing at old spaghetti factory. it wasn't all that great. i make better spaghetti! then we went shopping...my first time in months! sad thing is that there wasn't much to buy. but i did get stuff from hollister (of course!) and finally some pumas cause they were on sale. (wow! jenn with shoes?! amaazing!) and roel bought me a sweater from hollister too...thanks sweetheart! and i got him a flannel from american eagle...he bought more than i did..whats wrong with that picture?! oh well..next time when there's more stuff....or actually stuff my size! i got him his first wetzel pretzel and he got me my first coldstone. wow. dang this is a pretty dull entry. haha....sorry for ya cause i know youre still reading! so we chilled for a bit at his house with his bro and his fiance and her cousins...then roel's parents drove us back to berkeley....now its sunday and i have MAD reading to do....soooo....peace out!!

dang im kinda late, but oh well! here's what happened last weekend....

midterms are over! well for round 1 at least...2 weeks til round 2 (boo)....so friday i went to the giants game with roel, his brother, his brother's fiance' and their friends. it was cold...but at least the giants won...i guess, haha! even saw bonds himself hit a homerun..goodstuff. so we got back to roel's house around 11:30 and decided to get some starbucks...called up my roomate mari since she was home in san leandro, to meet us up in union city but she was actually already there. haha...roomates cant get enough of each other. so we chilled at tapioca express for a long while. then got back to the house around 1:30 and stayed up til 3 in the morning playing with roel's brother's god-daughter. she's the cutest, smartest, little thing on earth! not the usual two year old i might add...haha...quite adorable! that was fun til her parents picked her up. then we went to sleep. funny thing is i felt like i was gonna get in trouble by my parents for sleeping over...but i had no choice and his mom was the one who told us to sleep in his room....how weird! it did still feel awkward though. so we went home the next day with marc and mari cause they picked us up. saturday night we went to jaymi's surprise party...good stuff casue i hardly see anyone these days. then off to the infamous bowles dorm for a party....i swear, some berkeley folks canNOT dance! its sad...oh well, spent most of the time in roel's friend's dorm cause they all live there again. (they're all cute too ; >) then the police came at 1...sucks cause people were just arriving. but i can't imagine being at that party without having roel and his hookups...it would have been boring. so yea...there goes my weekend. picked up madel at the airport sunday night cause she went home for the weekend...and.....that's it! i wish i could blog more. does anyone read this besides madel? hahahahah
