so chris, sherlyn, and i drove 10 hours on sunday to handle some business and cure our lovesickness. can you imagine how good it feels? betcha cant....and i also bet you cant guess where we're all staying...............muahahhaha. lets just say we all went our seperate ways ;)

though i missed out on some VIP status at On Broadway, im glad i got to hang out with the cousins in hot-ass LA....

also, i am now the official chauffer of mr. darius. i took him to their first basketball game....let me tell you, he has one bitchass coach who #1 is racist #2 plays favorites to his sorry ass son who cant play for shit #3 criticizes more than he motivates....so the next game im goin to have a little chant-"let darius play! let darius play! quit being racist!"

hmm..in other news, MIKE IS FINALLY 21! late on the blog...but happy birthday!

and lastly.........i have a goal for summer: stay away from the sun as much as possible. it wont be that hard since its hot as heck here. todays weather is suppose to reach high 90s. i just dont wanna be dark anymore :(

couldnt sleep for the life of me last night and woke up too dang early for my own good. so here i am...8am

yesterday was mucho mucho fun. how we managed to round up every berkeley student in san diego to go the padres game?? i dont know. haha...we caused ruckus at yardhouse's happy hour (remind me to go back there), and looked like freakin alkys ordering drinks every five minutes to make that 6 hour mark. hardly paid attention to the game cause sherlyn and chris kept talking to me....but we did win :)

thought of the day: losing trust is like having your pet die....can you really bring it back?

hahah...just kidding! im so behind on this blog................here's my random updates:

1. decided last minute (VERY last minute) to take on another major: ethnic studies. why?? here's my reasoning so listen up:
PROS:
-i wanna walk in the spring
-it buys me time to work on letters of rec since i have no work experience whatsoever
-i wasnt planning on applying to nursing school til this year
-i think it will definetly be in my favor to get IN nursing school
-i much rather go to school than spend 6 months finding a job
CONS:
-im gonna be a loner :(
its gonna be different...but i think im ok with that. sometimes it makes sense to me why i decided it, sometimes it doesnt. but in the end, hopefully when im an NP graduate from nyu or columbia or some other east coast school, it will all makes sense. so please dont question me cause i probably dont have the answers myself.

2. haircut #2: fight to save my hair from ugliness. the lady goes, "how the heck did he cut your hair?!" after staring at it for a good 5 minutes deciding what she could do to fix it. my thoughts exactly.

3. vegas with the fam...yummy food, yucky weather.

4. the breakup is a good movie. i think we can all relate in some way....plus its hella funny.

i think thats it? how lame. its barely been two weeks at home, but it feels like forever. i miss my bitches. i miss the bay and its music. i miss mike. but home is good too. wish i could be at two places at once.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

it's been a crazy hectic week. packing. cleaning. saying "goodbye and good luck."

if its one thing i can't express...its how much i LOVE my allston family. we were seriously a spoof off the show Friends. who would have known that living literally one floor away from each other would bring such good times, drama....and closeness.

so when we sent off the first two to go...we just had to have one last hoorah at our apartment. only WE would take shots while packing and cleaning. who would have known this would lead to one huge cry fest....it was a damn moment for ya. especially since the boys cried more than the girls ;p but through it all, i thank God that we were able to see past all the bad and come together for the last time. when it comes down to it, we're family...no doubt about that. i hope ya'll had the "time of your life," cause i know i did.

im going to miss each and every one of these people....


it hits me harder and harder every time i think to myself, "when's the next time i'll see chris, norman, jr, roel, kay ann, robie, sherlyn, and madel??"
