maan oh maan am i feeling sick! headache...stuffy nose...soar throat...jeez! yesterday i felt so nasty. i bought some gummi rings cause i had a craving them for some reason. they didn't have gummi worms...those are better. then i went to my classes...PASOC was very enlightening today. we discussed the struggles of pilipino veterans who still to this day don't have the veteran benefits they deserve and also all the airport screeners that are being deported for not being citizens. it sucks that they're being discriminated for not being citizens...but will becoming a citizen really make them do a better job than they already are doing? that's just a lame excuse...it really seems like they're blaming them for the 9/11 attack..as if it was their fault the terrorists brought weapons aboard. duuumb stuff....

after class i skipped the FED (filipino empowerment day) meeting because i wasnt feeling too well. i slept for like an hour then got up to watch dawson's creek and the bachelor. aaron came by last night to chill for a little bit around 11...it was cool. i wasn't feel so great and i didnt' know how to entertain him so i just gave him my yearbook to look at...haha, sorry if it was boring maan! but yea...he made me a "get well card" which is soo sweet! :) no one ever made me anything like that before...so thanks again! i appreciate it...

in honor of pilipino visibilty week, today was pilipino ditch day...i didnt' have any classes to ditch though. it was real cool...everyone was out in front of Dwinelle and we had guerilla theater..skits on a couple of pilipino history events that we may not know about.such as...did you know that the number one export of the philippines is women? wow...that freakin sucks to know! anyways..the whole purpose of the week was to fight for pilipino american studies on campus...we have yet to have our own class based on our very own culture. without this class...how will we ever know about our people's history? we got a lot of attettion and people to sign the petition...so hopefully things will finally go through soon..we've been fighting for this for awhile now

i had a good talk with becky today about stuff...yea...i felt better...seems like i'm goin through what she STILL IS goin through... ;(
