surprise surpirse... (this is gonna be a long one!)

so many surprises in this past week...its so crazy! the first one was for madel's birthday on september 1st...maan we hella got her! at the stroke of midnight we all greeted her and then made a little wager...for every hour she was awake she was to take a shot of bacardi..haha..some roomates we are! and in exchange i would do her homework. so she was up til like 4 in the morn doin her shots while i was at roel's baking her fave cake..pineapple upside down. then early in the morning we got up to cook some brunch and decorated the apartment with some "happy fucking birthday" decor we found at urban..it was hella cool. then when she least expected it....everyone storms through the door and yells SURPIRSE! fck yea...we got that little punk finally! kudos to me, sherlyn, and mari for pullin it off! and of course to roel for helping us out.... then later that night we headed to San Francisco to eat at hooters....its the first one in the bay area. so that was fun...then surpirse #2 for her cause we invited alumni brian cadiz to join us...we knew she would love that! and then of course we had to tell the waitresses that it was her bday so she had to get up on a stool while we all sang to her. good stuff madel...you deserve it!

that night was crazy for me...on the way home some crazy ass drunk indian talked to me on the bus the whole freakin ride...thank GOD roel was next to me. he was pretty scary, saying stuff like "im gonna get in trouble cause im 36"...wtf?! other stuff he said was pretty sweet though...like tellin roel to take care of me and telling us how special love is and all that...afterwards everyone was like "OMG jenn are you ok?!" haha...i was bout to die talkin to that indian. well i guess thats the city and public transportation for ya!

then came MY SURPRISE! on wednesday, september 3rd was roel and i's 4 month anniversary...and this one is suppose to be special cause its our first one actually being together since we were away from each other in the summer. but i didnt expect much since it was a school night and we both had a lot of homework. so all we did was go to the PASS meeting and ate out afterwards at Tako Sushi with marc and mari. that was hella fun and good enough for me....i figured we would do something on the weekend. so on the way home roel went back to his place to "pick up books" to study at my place. but when he got here madel asked for the "cd" she asked him to burn. so roel had to go back and i just went along with him cause i felt bad. so when we got to his apartment he opens the door and says "happy anniversary"...and when i walked in, his WHOLE room was lit with red scented candles and there were scented rose petals everywhere with our pictures nicely displayed....but that aint it cause he even had his parents go to baskin robins to get a cake with our picture on it. it was soo sweet....everything was perfect! the way he set it up and planned everything out...i didnt know what to say. i couldnt stop smiling...im mean, come on now, these are the things you read in fckin YM magazine! and apparently he' s been planning this since the summer. madel and sherlyn helped set it up too...good job guys! i was hella surprised....thanks roel for being YOU! i dont think things can't get better than me and roel....i hella love that guy!

oh yea...roel hit one candle and wax spilled on the wall and carpet so we had to clean it up....then when we were blowing them out he blew a little too hard and the wax splattered every where....HAHAHA...it reminded us of our first date when he got salsa in his eye....that's my babe for ya!
