exactly :) a weekend of goodtimes for damn sure, or even "sherlyn filled weekend" if you'd like. soo many things planned, and the only thing that didnt pull through was the one thing we've been waiting to do since last summer: swimming....maybe next time.
thank God for the gorgeous weather that made it 10x better. we started Friday with a shopping spree in SF @ nordstroms and did some damage to our credit cards. i dont even think we stopped to rest our feet. sales are evil. how did we end our friday night? with the book party at barnes and nobles for the premiere of the new harry potter. when it struck midnight, kids yelled, "potter! potter!" oh lord it was nuts. i enjoyed looking at the childrens books and remembering the stories our teacher would read to us in elementary, even though i always messed around or fell asleep during those times..haha.
saturday...got all dressed in sun screen and my bathing suit waiting for sherlyn to get home. instead the cable guy came late and somehow ended up giving me his number and asking me out??? now i understand why my mom never wanted me to be home alone with the construction workers. so swimming was scratched out and we decided to go grocery shopping...oh maan, these times i wish i had a car. i love my food. that night we all went to ernesto's party to drink and be merry with karaoke. the walk home was funny.
on sunday, i finally went SAILING! ive been wanting to do this foreeever. great date with sherlyn and chandra. our skipper was nuts. he was the harriest man ever...i mean ever! arms, back, neck, eeerythang. we shared our boat with a professor from berkeley. weird. it was soo pretty, i dont think any of us stopped smiling for the good half hour(?) we were out on the water. i loved it.
now it all ends and back to reality. boo.
